I’m AJ, founder of Page & Pour.
My love for both books and wine began as simple pleasures — a fun romantic comedy that would no doubt bring tears to my eyes, and a tall glass of cabernet sauvignon. My perfect pair.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that the only thing that could make this better would be to share the experience with others. So, I did what anyone would do. I googled “book and wine clubs.” To my surprise, there weren’t any. Shocked and a bit annoyed, I sat on the idea for years.
But that thought never really went away. Every time I poured a glass or got lost in a new story, I kept coming back to it. The idea of creating a space where people could do both. Not just read or drink, but connect, unwind, and find comfort in community.
I envisioned a way to bring people together, to blend culture with connection, and to elevate the ritual of reading into something we could share. What started as a small spark grew into Page & Pour — a community that exists both in person and virtually, where anyone, anywhere, can feel a part of something meaningful.
